Massive Archive of Italian Punk Fanzines (1980s) Now Online: 695 ‘zines and counting!
Punk archivist Paolo Palmacci from Bologna has been mapping Italian punk fanzines from the 1980s: a huge, long-term project stemming from his involvement with obscure bands from that era.
On his blog Capit Mundi?, he’s built an incredible public archive:

Alphabetical list of fanzines: here.
So far Paolo has documented 695 fanzines, with 635 fully available to read or download for free.
For anyone into Italian hardcore, this includes classics like T.V.O.R., Granducato Hardcore (GDHC), Brians Out, Nuove dal Fronte, plus the wider network that supported bands like Raw Power, Peggio Punx, Indigesti, Wretched, and more.
The blog is currently in Italian, but we’re planning an interview with Paolo so he can talk about the project and the world of Italian fanzines to the global English-speaking DIY punk community.
